The issue of the factors that contributed to the emergence of Ashura movement as the most important event in early Islam is one of the issues on which various views have been expressed. Some researchers have considered the main cause of Imam Husain's uprising to be the invitation of the people of Kufa, and others have considered Yazd's request for allegiance from Imam as the most important factor. While some consider political and cultural deviations to be the cause of the Ashura uprising, others have suggested that ethnic and tribal factors were important. Everyone has looked at this divine movement from a certain angle and has expressed something. Of course, all researchers and writers accept the influence of the mentioned factors in the emergence of the Husaini uprising, and there is no dispute in this regard. The difference is in the amount of influence and role that each of them had in the origin of the Ashura movement. But what we understand from the historical reports and the words of the leader of the Ashura movement is that the most important reason for Imam Husain's uprising was the change Yazid introduced in the nature of Islam and the fact that the Islamic society was detached from its lofty ideals designed by the Prophet. The main goal of the uprising was to block the deviance that had emerged in religious thinking from Saqifah onwards. Other factors also paved the ground for the Ashura uprising. In this research, which is organized on the basis of ancient historical sources and Imam Husain's words, the factors responsible for Imam Husain's uprising have been investigated.
