Many studies and researches have been done about Imam Husain's movement. One of the important topics about this uprising is the topic of the Imam's movement. Certainly, the objectives of the Imam's uprising against the government were to realize the truth, enjoin the good and forbid the evil, establish justice, revive the tradition, etc. But was the Imam's departure from Medina to Kufa with the intention of forming a government or was he intending to be martyred?
The occurrence of the Islamic revolution and the establishment of the Islamic Republic under the leadership of Imam Khomeini in the fourteenth century of the historical and effective movement of the Ashura movement is the bright end and blessed achievement of that divine movement.
Imam Khomeini, as someone who considers Imam Husain's uprising as the driving force and cause of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and who has a profound understanding of the matter, believes that Imam moved towards Kufa in order to form a government.
