Islamic culture is full of the best and advanced methods of management. The power and influence of Islamic management was so good that during the era of the Holy Prophet and the era of the Imams, it changed a poor and weak society that was caught in ethnic and tribal wars over worthless things into a modern and superior society. In a short period of time it was able to defeat the biggest empires of his time and found its own great government and civilization. The best methods and instructions for managing and guiding people are available in the words and actions of the Holy Prophet and pure imams. Everyone has made use of according to his/her capacity. Books such as Siyast-namah by Khwaja Nizam al-Mulk, Nasihat al-Muluk by by al-Ghazali, -Qaboos nameh by Amir 'Unsur al-Ma'ali, Chahar Meqala by Nizami 'Arowzi, Shahnameh by Ferdowsi, Gulistan and Bustan by Sa'di etc., were each influenced by the guidance of the innocent leaders. The investigation and analysis of Imam Husain's political movement from the starting point in Medina to the end of his martyrdom in Karbala and the events that occurred in this space and time interval and the stages he went through until he reached the final point of his position is a subject that can only be understood by having correct history on the one hand and a comprehensive view on the other hand. We are also determined to pluck a flower from the garden of the Red Movement of Imam Husain in the matter of Islamic management.
In this research, we have discussed the obvious functions of Ashura in the field of organization and management from Medina to Karbala by using a descriptive-analytical method. The findings of the research show that Imam Hossein was good at all dimensions of management skills, including human, administrative and technical (military) skills. This research, while considering Imam's decision-making as arising from awareness, emphasizes that he did not act hastily or passively with his accurate prediction and special plan. He moved the movement towards the goal, with timely and deliberate decisions. He observed the principle of planning in all parts of his movement, even in the way his small army was arranged against the enemy's massive army.
