Abstract
One of the most important factors of human progress in personal, familial, national, international, and environmental domains and likewise, in worship, intellectual, cultural, scientific, economic, political, social, health, recreational, nutritional, dressing, and residential dimensions is the type of lifestyle. For the development of human life, religions, religious denominations, schools of thought, ideologies, etc., propose styles and programs that are either specific to some areas or dimensions or are incomplete, but the Holy Qur’an in the form of Islam has offered a style of advanced life to humanity, which has a complete and coherent plan in all areas and dimensions of human life.
In this type of lifestyle, adequate attention is paid to the material and spiritual aspects of man, and his happiness in this world, purgatory and the afterlife is guaranteed. In this lifestyle, the institution of the family is central in all or most areas and dimensions and much emphasis has been placed on its formation, preservation and development. From the viewpoint of the Holy Qur’an, religion, sanctity of the family, legality of sexual interest and clothing, observance of rights, mutual respect, sanctity of reproduction, education, legitimacy of children, unity, cooperation, affection, proportionality and justice in the rights of men and women are visible in an advanced family. The Qur’anic lifestyle in the field of the family is such that it is fully compatible in many cases with modern technology and does not conflict with it.
