Abstract

Before Islam, women lived far from their society, where they were excluded from life. This exclusion was represented by the deprivation of the rights that God had given them. They suffered a lot in a society that did not value them but rather considered their existence a cause for shame and humiliation. Islam came with provisions for the women which ensured that they could live happily. It made them an essential element in human society, granted them all the rights that were deprived of them, and even gave them a high status within society.
As usual for the enemies of God, we find them struggling to challenge Islam, and perhaps this time they have chosen distorted models of women who led those in societies as Muslims, but in reality they are living in the ignorant era of the ancient era in a modern context since they are tools for carrying out the desires of men. They are, in reality, commodities that are bought and sold in civilized markets similar to slave markets.
This article aims to shed light on a typical character of Muslim women in particular and women in general, as they are role models of faith, chastity, commitment and modesty. As we suffer today from standard references and value systems, therefore we find from time to time new role models, values and standards are presented to us that may differ completely from heavenly values and standards. What we really need is stability in the normative reference, which creates in humans purposefulness and a sense of individual and social responsibility, amidst the complete distraction of what the age of images offers us, which has harnessed the female personality for the benefit of its promotional and commercial plans, so women have become an additional brand in advertising and media.
There was a need to present manifestations of good role models, such as the pure Lady Khadija - who was deliberately absent - with the aim of awakening societies from their deep slumber, which made them imagine that what TV channels and social media sites were showing them was what reflected the ideal model of Muslim women.
